Mint Chocolate Bark

If you love the classic combination of mint and chocolate, this Mint Chocolate Chip Bark is an easy way to recreate that familiar flavor in a simple homemade treat.

Ingredients

Adjust Servings
8oz white chocolate, chopped
2tsp coconut oil (split into 1 teaspoon)
1/2tsp Amoretti® Green Oil Soluble Food Color
1tsp Amoretti® Mint Chocolate Chip Oil Soluble Extract (split into two, 1/2 teaspoons)
8oz dark chocolate (60%) or semi-sweet chocolate

Directions

Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
Melt the chocolate in seperate bowls in a microwave, or over a double boiler. NOTE: the white chocolate melted best with the double boiler method.

Once the chocolate is melted, stir in a 1/2 teaspoon of the mint chocolate chip extract into each bowl. Set the dark chocolate to the side, and add in the food color to the white chocolate.

To assemble, pour the entirity of the dark chocolate onto the lined baking sheet. Immediately follow up with the white chocolate and drizzle over top of the dark chocolate in lines.

Using a toothpick, swirl the layers together until a marbled effect forms.

Let the chocolate rest at room temperature until hardened. About 1 hour. You can also place in a refrigerator to speed this process up if you are on a time crunch.
Once hardened, break into pieces and enjoy!
